Hello
Kiannah Kerr-McCarthy
Founder & Artistic Director, Worship Unity Ministries

With over 20 years of dance experience, Kiannah Kerr-McCarthy is a seasoned creative visionary whose life and ministry have been powerfully shaped through movement, worship, and community engagement. A graduate of George Brown College in downtown Toronto, she holds a Dance Studies Certification that has equipped her to merge technical excellence with spiritual depth.
My Story
Kiannah began dancing at the age of 11 and quickly rose in the performing arts scene. By 2003, she was crowned a Dancehall Queen—but soon after, at the age of 16, her life was radically transformed. The Lord convicted her heart, shifting her purpose from performance to prophetic movement and worship arts. What once was a secular expression became a sacred assignment.

Today, Kiannah leads Worship Unity Ministries with a mandate to equip, train, and empower dancers and ministers across Canada and internationally. She has trained numerous ministries in the art of prophetic movement, flag worship, and consecration through dance—building teams that serve with excellence, unity, and spiritual authority.

Beyond the church walls, Kiannah is deeply committed to giving back to her community. Her performances and workshops have graced stages and community spaces across the GTA, including Irie Festivals, Carassauga, Carabram, Sheridan College, Catholic and Public Creative Arts Schools (for Black History Month), Christian Heritage events, and outreach initiatives at Dixie & Bloor Agency for Children—to name just a few.

In 2017, Kiannah was sought out by the Spanish community in Los Angeles, California, to travel and teach on African movement, bridging cultures and igniting a deeper appreciation for the spiritual and historical roots of dance. She has also ministered at national and international events such as Fix Your Crown 2025, Northeast Winterfest in New York and also in New Jersey, and alongside Eddie James Ministries in the United States, for a youth conference, bringing prophetic fire and unity through the ministry of dance.

In addition to her ministry work, Kiannah is a devoted wife and mother. She has been married for over nine years to her amazing and supportive husband, Jason McCarthy, and together they are raising four young boys—all under six years old. Despite her demanding schedule, Kiannah continues to pursue excellence academically, completing her Master’s degree at the University of Toronto in Higher Adult Education, specializing in Social and Community Development.

Her life’s mission is simple yet profound: to turn movement into ministry—transforming lives, healing hearts, and uniting nations through the power and anointing of worship arts. She's always learning and willing to work with any age as she believes it's not the number that defines your gift but the Oil of anointing upon one's life.
